About

SimpleDots

SimpleDots was founded by Philip Rene Kahrs in February 2026 in Lüneburg, Germany, as a sole proprietorship. The project represents a personal and independent approach to building software with a focus on clarity, simplicity, and steady growth.

How It Started

SimpleDots began as a personal venture built on curiosity, persistence, and the desire to create useful digital projects. It started as a small independent business and continues to grow step by step.

What It Stands For

The idea behind SimpleDots is to create software and digital experiences that feel clean, focused, and practical. The goal is not unnecessary complexity, but thoughtful solutions with a clear purpose.

About

Me

I am Philip Rene Kahrs, the person behind SimpleDots. Most of what I know was built through online study, a lot of tutorials, and a great deal of hands-on learning by doing.

Background

My main programming language is C#, but I also work with C++ and have experience with Unity game development. I would describe my current level as advanced or semi-professional, with a strong focus on improving through practice.

Approach

I enjoy solving problems, building things from scratch, and learning continuously along the way. For me, development is not just about writing code, but about creating something useful and improving with every project.

A Small Note on the Nickname

My nickname is GrumbleFinch. That does not necessarily mean I am always in a bad mood — it mostly means I occasionally like to yell at my computer when it has clearly made its own decisions.
